MOCAP STAGE
PICS STUDIO, at the heart of technological innovation, will be equipped with a massive 5,400 sqft : motion Capture platform, pushing back the boundaries of digital creation.
WORKSHOPS
PICS STUDIO offers a wide range of ergonomic, modular spaces designed to provide an optimal working environment.
Our facilities include 83420 sq ft of multifunctional space dedicated to construction, special effects, props and costumes, located right next to the sets.
A 24757 sq ft central carpentry and painting workshop, fully equipped with machinery, completes the complex.
Everything has been designed to ensure ease, efficiency and working comfort.

A campus adjacent to the studio will host several public and private schools dedicated to film-related professions.

AUDITORIUM
The 140-seat Auditorium, equipped with a Christie 4K projector, a 10-meter-wide screen, and Dolby Atmos sound system, will allow for the projection of films and digital images in all formats.
CATERING AND RELAXATION
PICS STUDIO offers catering facilities close to each plateau, as well as a bar - restaurant with roof top overlooking the Pic Saint Loup.
POST-PRODUCTION & EDGE CENTER
A TPN-certified post-production company, our facilities include a dailies processing lab, a 90 m² recording auditorium (6 m HSP, variable acoustics, top-of-the-range microphones, self-service accessories), a mixing auditorium, a pre-calibration room, image/sound editing rooms (which can be moved close to the sets) and an EdgeCenter with servers, storage, render farm and dedicated production areas.
RECYCLING CENTRES
PICS STUDIO is setting up two innovative centers:
● One dedicated to set elements and play accessories, for reuse and recycling.
● Another in the form of a plant nursery, for all the natural elements.
BACKLOTS
PICS STUDIO offers large Backlots, with a variety of surfaces and terrains, levelled flat, paved or grassy areas, forest or hills.
Backlots are attached to the Studio, and are connected to water, electricity and fiber.

A true production village with more than 30 service providers on one site. VFX, SFX, armory, costumes, camera, machinery, lighting, sound, post-production, vehicles, control room, rigging... everything is on site to make things go fast, well, and together.
FILMING IN FRANCE
Location & TAX
The International Tax Credit (C2I) reimburses 30% of eligible expenses incurred in France by foreign productions, up to a maximum of €30 million. It applies to filming, visual effects or animation carried out in France. A higher rate of 40% is available for dramas with strong visual effects. Film France (CNC) issues the approvals, while the DGFIP is responsible for monitoring and calculating the credit. Full file here (put the link CNC or Film France). Pics Studio is located in the south of France, on the Mediterranean coast, where the sun shines more than 300 days a year.
